This series will get to know some of the female idols or actresses who are girl crush material. A ‘girl crush’ is defined as a woman or girl who is the object of one’s admiration. In other words, one of the female K-Pop idols or Korean actresses that fans wish was their best friend or girlfriend. This can be based on their style, personality, overall vibe, etc. Check out the previous girl crush articles here. Back to this week’s feature! Let’s get to know our girl crush, Yuki! Yuki is famous as a member of the all-rounder girl group PURPLE KISS. The group is known for their ability to rock every aspect of a performance and their killer discography. Yuki is no exception with her full-package persona. Yuki writes her own rap verses and lyrics. Her writing credits are no joke. She has a cute “Little Mermaid” notebook that she writes them in. This is all the more impressive as she is Japanese but has such a great command of the Korean language. Her lyrics are also empowering, showing how much thought she puts into the writing process. Many fans admire this fact about her. Her rap skills are on another level as many think of her as one of the best female rappers among 4th generation idols. She has a crisp tone and her diction is accurate, too. Add to that her fast and impactful rap ability and the deal is sealed. If you are new to Yuki, her debut trailer is the perfect mini-intro to her rap skills. Yuki has stunning dance lines, too. She is in charge of refined dance lines in the group but can also pull off powerful choreography. This ‘Zombie’ fancam is a must-watch to appreciate her beautiful but strong dance style. Her moves and facial expressions in this ‘Ponzona’ fancam will also have you moving her up your stan list in no time. Just when you thought that she can’t possibly be any more talented, Yuki will surprise you with her vocal ability. In this cover of ‘BLUE MOON’ alongside fellow member Park JiEun, you’ll get a feel for her singing, rapping, and charming vocal color. She is dynamite when it comes to her talents, but of course, we can’t leave out talking about her visuals. Yuki has an angelic beauty to her that is out of this world. Many have described her visuals as luxurious.
She is also known for her versatility as she can pull off a number of different concepts and fashion styles with ease.
To that point, she is a duality queen. She can appear fierce and lethally charming on stage but has a cute youthful persona as well. Her charismatic but goofy nature ensures her position as the apple of many of our eyes. One of her cutest moments was in this video where she calls her mom and tells her she loves her. Here are some interesting but random/TMI facts about Yuki: She loves horror movies and is not fearful of many things. She prefers cream spaghetti over tomato spaghetti. She also can’t handle greasy foods well, otherwise, she has to drink a mango smoothie to settle her stomach. Lastly, Yuki is a cat lover. On top of that, Yuki has one of the cutest laughs in K-Pop. It is dolphin-like and so full of joy that, at first, it startles people but shortly afterward they can’t resist her adorable charm.
